Rockland Soccer Academy offers individual & small group training programs to players of all ages and ability levels.  With each session tailored towards the individual or group, it allows us to work on specific areas of the game, which would be difficult to teach in a large team environment.

BEGINNERS

Sample Session Details:
•    Ball Control – Using different parts of the body
•    Passing – Passing to moving targets
•    Movement – With and without the ball
•    Shooting – Striking the ball correctly
•    Dribbling – Different speeds and changes of direction
•    Boundaries of Field  "Touch Lines and End Lines"
•    Turning - Inside, Outside, Pull back

PRE-TRAVEL TRAINING

•    Pass and Move – Using teammates to create space
•    Skills and Thrills – Fake, Step over, drag back
•    Dribbling – Keep Eyes Up, ball close, soft touches
•    Shooting – Accuracy, Under pressure
•    Defense and offence
•    Boundaries, positions and game awareness
•    Throw ins, goal kicks, corner kicks

ADVANCED TRAVEL PLAYERS

•    Dynamic Passing – Precise and quick short passes with emphasis on good technique
•    Movement – Emphasis on sharp movement after each pass, develop idea of moving to support
•    Game awareness and positioning – Making the right decisions
•    Ball control - Cushion the ball – Prepare for next pass , space awareness
•    Strength and conditioning - Maximize motor skills and explosive power
•    Speed and Agility - Balance, coordination and injury prevention
•    Shooting and Finishing - From different angles and positions
